After completing her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at the end of 2011, and through a wide range of volunteer opportunities working with children, Hannah developed a passion in particular for early intervention and learning how the right skills and knowledge can help shape a child’s future. Her experience includes working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delay, and children experiencing a range of other physical and sensory processing difficulties. During her final year of studies she was also involved in co-pioneering a project through a local primary school, where resources were provided to families and play sessions run in order to teach how various early childhood skills can be developed through play. Hannah loves being a part of the Best Start team, working alongside other therapists and families in empowering and enabling children to achieve their full potential. Hannah loves her job, believing that every step is an achievement worth celebrating and is excited for the future of every child and the potential that they bring.
