ABA Programs: Clinic, home, full-service or workshop model.

Best Start Clinic provide specialist home and clinic-based Applied Behaviour Analysis programs under either a full-service or workshop model.

Parents are able to choose home or centre-based sessions according to their need and session availability, however we believe than an ideal program includes both home and centre-based sessions as well as opportunities for supported inclusion in mainstream educational settings, such as childcare, kinder and school.

By working across different settings we will be able to make sure that your child is able to learn and use skills in different environments, that the programs are functional and relevant to your child's everyday life, provide support and modelling of behavioural strategies within the home as well as the benefits of centre-based teaching such as minimising distractions and opportunities for respite.

ABA Full-Service Model:

Best Start Clinic provides both the program supervision and trained Applied Behaviour Analysis therapists. The full-service model is available for both centre-based and home-based programs.

ABA - Workshop Model:

Best Start Clinic provides the program development and supervision. Parents are responsible for the recruitment and sometimes the training of Applied Behaviour Analysis therapists to work directly with the child. The workshop model is available for home-based programs only.
